From Hands to Heart: Crafting a Creative Life on Your Terms with Melanie Falick
When Melanie Falick, author of Making a Life: Working by Hand and Discovering the Life You Are Meant to Live, faced a personal crisis in 2012, she decided technology and business were robbing her of a good life, and something had to change.
This decision led her to travel the world, connecting with potters, weavers, artists, and many others. Through this journey of discovery, Melanie learned that using our hands to make things connects us to our ancestors, the earth, and ourselves, while profoundly improving our wellbeing and brain development.
‘Time is our most precious resource, and we really don’t know how much of it we have left. Just as we spend our money carefully, we need to spend our time carefully’ – Melanie Falick
