Simon is a photographer, lecturer and chair of the Scottish Portrait Awards. Over the years, he’s travelled extensively documenting human interest stories in countries such as Bangladesh, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda and Cambodia. His portraiture subjects range from the Dalai Lama to Noel Gallagher and John Hurt. Simon has won numerous awards and exhibited extensively. His first book Govanhill was published in 2023.
